Media File


 

A Media File is simply a file you can play over the internet and on a computer.  Any video that is placed on the internet needs to be coded properly so it can play smoothly when it is requested.  When it comes to video, files more than a couple minutes long become to big to send as an attachment.  So a Media File is uploaded to a server, where it is stored, and enables anyone to see for viewing. 

So you have two choices.  First, order a media file on a disc that will be sent to you, and you upload to a server yourself. Second, order a media file and let us upload it to a server for you.  It will then be able to be played by anyone.  We code all files as a Windows Media File so it will play on all PC's and Mac's.

First we will code your video so it can be played on any computer around the world.  Then we can either send it to you on a disc and you upload it to a server.  Or we will upload it to a server for you and you can play it when ever anyone "clicks" on the file (recommended)
